Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Barnaby now calls New York Home!
As a member of both Actors' Equity Association (AEA) and the Media, Entertainment, and Arts Alliance (MEAA), Barnaby has proven himself on both sides of the globe.
Soon after moving to the U.S. Barnaby made his American debut in U.S. National Tour of JERSEY BOYS, Barnaby played Bob Crewe (u/s Bob Gaudio) - marking a significant milestone in his career. Most recently Barnaby starred as The Tinman in the critically-acclaimed production of THE WIZARD OF OZ directed by Zi Alikhan at Geva Theatre Center and has returned to play Fred in A CHRISTMAS CAROL directed by Elizabeth Williamson.
Barnaby holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre from the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts where during his final year of training, he simultaneously performed in the Melbourne season of DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.
Since graduating, Barnaby has continued to shine on stage and screen, playing Doody for over two years in GREASE and starring in two sell-out seasons of his original musical-comedy SUITCASES, BAGGAGE & OTHER SYNONYMS (MICF), both earning him critical acclaim. Additionally, Barnaby played Fender (u/s Link) in the Australian tour of HAIRSPRAY.
Barnaby appeared on Season 5 of The Voice Australia and has featured roles in the Origin Air commercial for SportsBet Australia, as well as current commercials for ClassPass in the United States and Restoria in both Australia and the United States.
